The short version

I started in paid media as a junior media buyer at a Toronto agency in 2014, running $5k/month Google Ads accounts for local home services brands. Twelve years later I'm the founder of North American Media Experts Inc., a Toronto-based agency that runs paid media across 13 demand-side platforms for brands spending anywhere from $20k to $500k+ per month.

I built this agency because I kept seeing the same three problems on every audit I ran for prospective clients: overreliance on a single channel, attribution gaps that hid the true cost per acquisition, and creative that was 18 months out of date for whichever platform it was running on. Every campaign we run starts with fixing those three things first.

What I actually do day-to-day

I'm hands-on in client accounts every week. I personally review the weekly performance of every account at NA Media Experts, set the strategic direction on net-new builds, and run the quarterly business reviews with each of our enterprise clients. I also write our agency's research pieces — the Toronto programmatic CPM benchmark report, our quarterly attribution audits, and our Meta CPA optimization framework are all primary-research projects I lead.

Across our client book, the team and I actively operate inside these demand-side platforms: The Trade Desk, Google DV360, Yahoo DSP, StackAdapt, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Amazon DSP, Xandr (Microsoft Invest), Basis (Centro), MediaMath, Beeswax, Simpli.fi, Choozle, and Adelphic. Channel breadth matters because every brand's audience lives somewhere different — the right DSP for a Toronto DTC apparel brand is rarely the right DSP for an Ontario B2B SaaS company.

Background

Before founding NA Media Experts in 2020, I held senior paid media roles at two Toronto agencies and one in-house team at a Canadian retail brand where I managed a $4M annual paid media budget across Google, Meta, programmatic, and CTV. Earlier in my career I ran SEO and paid search for local service businesses — that hands-on SMB grounding is part of why our agency still does free 30-minute audits for prospective clients, regardless of budget size.

I'm a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University with a specialization in marketing analytics, and I've spoken at IAB Canada events and Toronto Marketing Festival on programmatic transparency and attribution measurement.
