PRIVACY
POLICY.
How we handle personal information on namediaexperts.com — what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to ask us to delete it.
Who we are
North American Media Experts (“NAME”, “we”, “us”) is a paid media agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This policy covers the website namediaexperts.com and the enquiry forms on it.
For any privacy question, or to ask us to access, correct or delete your information, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
What we collect
Information you give us. Our contact, quote and free-audit forms ask for details such as your name, email address, company, website and whatever you write in the message field. We only receive what you choose to type.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record analytics data about visits: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), referring site, device type, browser, and time on page. This is collected through Google Analytics 4 and is not used to identify you by name.
Booking details. If you book a call, that scheduling happens on Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time under its own privacy policy.
We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
How your enquiry is handled
When you submit a form, it is sent to our server function and delivered by email to [email protected] using the form-delivery service Web3Forms. We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare any audit or proposal you asked for, and follow up about working together.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our content. Google sets cookies and similar identifiers to do this. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.
We run advertising campaigns on platforms including Google Ads. Where analytics audiences are linked to those platforms, you may subsequently see our ads elsewhere on the web. You can control personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center and, in Canada, through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada’s opt-out tools.
The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and some assets from content delivery networks. These providers may log your IP address as a normal part of serving those files.
Blocking or deleting cookies will not stop you using this website.
Where your information is stored
We are based in Canada, and the services we use to run this site and our email are operated by providers in Canada, the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed outside your own country, where different privacy laws apply. We only use providers we consider to offer an appropriate level of protection.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship with you, and then archived or deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under Canada’s PIPEDA, and under the GDPR if you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to withdraw consent to marketing, and to complain to a regulator.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. There is no charge. In Canada you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and enquiry data is transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to enquiry data to people who need it to respond to you.
Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites including Calendly, our client portal and our social profiles. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date below shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
